recurring pumps

hi, i've been experiencing bumps that always re-appear on the right side of my hip (at the side of the buttocks area, but closer to my hip bone), when the bumps appear they itch a lot, they apaear in threes or fours at different parts but they always leave dark marks so now there's a lot of marks there from it. it started off on a small part on my skin but now it's spreading but slowly though. after the bumps appear, itches and leaves a mark no other pumps will appear until 3-4 days, then the cycle repeates itself. sometimes it take longer before it reappears though. i've used lotrisone which is a topical cream, that didn't work, then i used nizoral, that didn'y help much. can someone help plz....in need off serious help. it bothers me because when i where a swim suit. it's so noticeable but more so i'm worried that it may be a sign of something serious. i will have it checked out but in the mean time i'm searching for answers. thanks in advance.

This may be contact dermatitis. The dark discolorations may be postinflammatory hyperpigmentation that follow the inflammatory process. The bumps or vesicles that you have noted may be due to a dermatitic skin condition. Dermatitis is a chronic skin inflammation which may recur in time. Sweat ,heat and tight underpants or clothing may cause the bumps to recur. Apply 0.05% Fluocinonide cream thinly over the area twice daily for 3 days and see if the affected skin improves. The redness should improve but this does not guarantee that the skin condition will not recur.
