red bump

i recently noticed i have a small red bump on the outside of my vagina its a not sore or itchy or anything i only noticed it when i was shaving down there, i have no idea what it could be it cant be an std because i have been with my partner for 10yrs and havent been with anyone else and i know my partner hasnt either, i would be grateful if anyone could help me thank you

maybe an infected hair follicle (common with shaving) depending on how big it is.

that is basically a pimple on a hair follicle. you may even find a curled up hair comes out eventually. try cleaning your razor more thoroughly, even pouring alcohol over the blade prior to use as the blades are notorious for causing this type of bump from old bacteria on the blade.
