red eyebrows and lyme disease

by syl22k, Feb 26, 2009 10:42AM
I have chronic Lyme disease, and I've had it for many years.  I have redness that  underlies my eyebrows in a unibrow across the whole forehead.  It increases and decreases in severity.  I do not pluck, rub, or irritate the skin, and I don't know if Lyme disease is the reason for it, and I've never seen it listed as a symptom.  Sometimes I cover the area with makeup when it gets too obvious.  This erythema does not itch or hurt, but its appearance is disturbing.  I've often wondered if it is Lupus like, and my doctor said that it can be related to an underlying infection.  She tested me for AIDS first thing.  The test came back negative.  Does anyone with Lyme disease have this problem?  Does anyone know the cause?
