red itchy bumps causing bald spots

First of all Hi, my name is dan and i have a serious question for you...i am 20 years old and about two years ago i started to notice that my head was itching a lot at the top of my head and i thought it was just dandruff or something  but then i noticed i had some bumps growing on my head and i started to worry but they would come and go as well as the itching... well after a couple months the bumps just decided to stay and the itching got more intense until one day i was showering and i noticed some hair loss but nothing too serious until last year it really got bad to the point where i decided to go to a dermatologist, the dermatologist prescribed me some pills called tetracycline (500mg) and told me to take 1 pill twice a day as well as put clobetasol 0.05% solution on my head twice a day...while i was doing that it seemed to calm the itching a little bit but it didn't really do much else...my head was still itching and the bumps did not go away not to mention the hair loss didnt stop and i got a bald spot on the back of my head. That was last october and since this stuff wasnt working really i stopped using it in february hoping that it would either just go away or stay the way it was but i was wrong...now i have bumps all over my head that itch and i think im starting to get them on my forehead as well and the bald spot i have is big now and only gets bigger as the days go by...my hair falls out like crazy ALL DAY EVERYDAY...ill run my hand through my head and i will have pulled out at least 4 hair strands everytime no matter how many times i do it...i tried using T-Gel shampoo but that isnt really helping either...i want to know what it could possibly be and i would love to go back to a dermatologist but i have no health insurance right now and i dont have the money to pay for the visit so if someone could please let me know the possibilities of what it could be and if there is anything i should be doing or getting from the pharmacy i would really appreciate it please please please it is so frustrating especially since im a server at olive garden its so embarrasing and i dont know where else to go at this moment im willing to try anything just to get these things off my head...oh and by the way the bald spot i have is not just a bald spot, it looks kind of like a blistery bump but there is no pus and it is red and soft and squishy like a blister but like i said it has no pus and it hurts to even sleep on it, sometimes i have to force myself to sleep on my stomach because i cant lay on my head so please help me
