red nose. age 38

Hi, i was wondering if anyone had the same problem i have.
ever since i was about 17 years old i had a red nose from time to time, i am now 38.
out of no ware my nose would start getting a slight pressure feeling followed by redness, it
will also get HOT, it lasts about three hours but will always be red and sensitive.
i went to the dermatologist and was told it could be rosacea, i do not have any bumps or veins.
i bought the rosacea cream for $135.00 but it didn`t do anything.
my skin is dry but also oily.
i never drank liquor in my life and i never eat spicy foods.
the redness seems to be at it`s worst in hot or cold weather.
i don`t know if this matters but i also have large pores.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to blushing skin. The treatment of severe blushing includes anti anxiety medicines and beta blockers.Severe cases may need endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy(ETS). If blushing is present throughout the day then rosacea has to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
