red patch near my nose

I have have this red patch on my face near my mouth and nose for 3 weeks now... I don't know what it is it gets dry sometimes I have tried cortaid,and antibiotic cream nothing has worked for me .Also I use trentinoin cream every 3 nights on my face i have been using for 3 months and this is the first time i get something like that on my face.can any1 help me could it be fungal?

I have this dry flakey red red stuff from the crease of my nose to centameter away from my mouth and it gos in a V shape from my nose to my mouth. Please help!!!

It can be due to seborrheic dermatitis or eczematous patch in response to the tretinoin cream. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp under the nose or anywhere on face. I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist as treatment is different for both. Also get lupus or rosacea ruled out.
