red pump in the face only when doing a weight lifting program

I started a weight lifting program about a year ago. In the 2nd month of the program, a red pump about one inch in diameter appeared in my cheek. I went to a number of dermatologists and nobody seems to assess the situation right.  The pump lasted for about 3 months and was changing its color form flourishing red to dark red and vice versa. The pump condition was also changing during the days from soft to hard and vice versa. I took antipoetic but that did not help.

Because of this, I stopped the weight lifting program and have not noticed such pump in my face again. However, this year, I started to lift weight again and the same thing happened after the 1st month of my weight lifting program, a red pump appeared in my upper cheek and started to grow until it reached to about one inch in diameter.

Please note that I have not taken any supplements during my weight lifting program and I was completely depending on healthy food rich in protein, fiber, and carbohydrates.

Could you please guide me what to do to aviod such pumps as I really want to continue lifting weight to build some muscle but I'm faced with the dilemma of having such large embarrassing pumps in my face.

Thanks in advance,
Smith
