red spot on cheek

hi,

i have a small red spot just above my cheek which i have had for years, my doctors told me what it was once and i just cant remember the name of it and im now thinking about having it removed but i just cant remember what she called it so i can look for places who does this sort of treatment.

i wondered if someone could tell me if i describe it to you.

when pressed it disappears slightly and the doctor described it as tiny blood vessels which could be lasered and when cut off it would then go but it was not available by the NHS so i would have to go private.

if someone could advise that would be great

Perhaps a hemangioma (Cherry angioma) or a minor telangectasia. Do check with these. ok?
