red spot on the nose that will not go away

I am 48 yrs old and as well have a red spot on the side of my nose that will not go away for many months.  It doesn't appear to be acne, and I am wondering if it may be an allergic reaction to some type of food that I may be eating?  Perhaps too many sweet-type of foods (not white sugar) during the day?  I have completely let go of  wheat products thinking that that may be causing it to appear.

Any deterrence from my raw foods diet, such as cooked, processed foods, dairy, and it flairs up, the size of this O and then will not go away for MONTHS.  Then,  when it finally does subside, another red spot (or 2 or 3) appear in its place nearby.  It is almost as if something inside is wanting to get out?  During my teens I had severe acne for maybe 7+ years.  So, I have had problem skin in the past.  That has all subsided, and now just this.

It is, to say the least, frustrating, and I'm wondering if perhaps it could be part of a hot dog I ate when I was 5yrs old still stuck in my colon?  So a "fiberblend" fast is next to try to eventually eliminate the black, tarry "rope" (which I've read that most of us have) that must be still lining the inside wall of my colon?  This is because I've never had anything like this come out of me yet, and it must still be in there.    http://www.gifam.org/pic007.htm

Are there any suggestions as to products to help with the topical healing process?  Thanks

The skin, being a large elimination organ, leads me to believe this.  This has been an ongoing problem for maybe 8 years or so.  I cover it with a skin tone complexion creme, to conceal it.  Any ideas what is going on and why it won't completely go away?
