red spots after laser hair removal treatment

I had my first session of laser hair removal for lower legs yesterday and after a few hours my legs started itching. The itch was so bad that I couldn't help not to scratch them and today I noticed red spots all over my lower legs. The red spots look like rash and are itchy. I'm worried that the laser might have burned my skin. Dose anybody knows if this is normal or I should stop laser hair removal treatment?

Thank you

Hello,
It looks like contact dermatitis. The treatments of this condition are application of topical corticosteroids (betamethasone, clobatesol, flucinolone) which will reduce the inflammatory process. Topical immunomodulators like pimecrolimus and tacrolimus can be used in severe conditions.

I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
