redness on head of penis

by aworriedguy, Jan 08, 2007 12:00AM
long story short:
- massage at a massage parlor with a happy ending in july (also licked me twice -- once on the leg and once on the scrotum)
- worried over the experience so tested in late october for everything from an std perspective (syphilis, chlamydia, hsv 1 & 2 via western blot, hiv, ghonorrea)
- everything came back negative
- as of december 30, i noticed a very tiny bump on the head of my penis (head of a pencil -- not the eraser part). sometimes reddish sometimes skin colored. smooth. no pain or itching. over the last 8 days it hasn't really changed in size.
- saw a dermatologit on jan 3rd. he said he didn't think it was anything explainable. didn't think it was a wart either. said not to worry.
- masturbated this morning and after, noticed some red blotching on the head of my penis that has lightened up as the day has passed today.

two questions:

1. any thoughts on the tiny bump and what it could be? i assume that i shouldn't worry about the scary stuff since i tested negative back in november -- correct?
2. have you heard of red blotching after masturbastion or should i be worried?

I agree with your dermatologist.  masturbation can indeed cause blotching from friction.  I think you have done your due diligence and should not worry.

Best.
