remedy for redness from hydroquinone

I used a scar removing cream from Acne Free for my acne spots & it contains 2% hydroquinone. I used it over night topically & put it quite liberally on the spots. The next day I was sitting on the traffic for 1 hr in the morning, it wasn't that hot, but there's still sun. The spots had literally turned red. So I've been putting a 1% hydrocortisone gel on the redness. and it's been 1 day, but I don't see the redness going away. Do you have any suggestion on other remedies ? and how long will the redness last ? Will the redness goes away ?

It looks like dermatitis or irritant contact dermatitis. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.
