reoccuring blood bump under skin on chest

A blood red, slightly raised spot suddenly appears over my left breast, stays for a few days, then fades away.  I noticed this week, that there is a slight lump under it.  This is the 3rd or 4 th time this has popped up.  I assume it's nothing serious because it fades away.  What is it and and what causes it??

Thank you so much for your  response. This spot is gone but if it happens again I will have it looked at.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This red bump can be a blood blister or a cherry angioma. Cherry angiomas are made up of clusters of tiny capillaries at the surface of the skin, forming a small round dome ("papule"), which may be flat topped.
Get it evaluated from a doctor if the symptoms persist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
