can it ever look like ulcers in the middle of each "pimple" or raised portion?

If I remember, it has been over 20 years.....the site of infection that I did'n't treat until it got bad, cause I didn't see it..nasty little pus-ey pits. Ulcers could be used to dexcribe them.  I din't have insurance and I didn[t want them to keep meout of work, so I wore long sleeves and treated it with overthe counter antifungals, like athletes foot medicine. It took a really long time, cou[le of months,,before I was completely healed.
