, I recently found that I am low in iron and deficient in b12 - my number was 190. My Doctor has prescribed 1000 mg of sublingual b12, however I am concerned about developing rosacea fulmanins, I believe it is rare, but nonetheless is a possibility with high doses of b12. I am feeling the symptoms of the low b12 though and do need to do something to treat it. Can you advise me? thank you for your time, sincerely, Sara
Hello,
It is true that some cases have been reported for rosacea fulminans which have been triggered by vitamin B 12 ingestion. In such a case, it will be better if you start with dietary intake of vitamin B 12 first. These include meat products like liver, oysters, beef, lamb, fish, cheese and eggs.
