rust/brown spot in the palm of my hand

I woke up this morning and discover rust/brown spots in the palm of my left hand and slightly in the right hand also.  I did not go to sleep with this problem.  It looked like idone but I did not touch any iodine.  my hands were clean and clear before I went to sleep last night and this morning I am freqking out by this HELP!

It can be due to tinea nigra palms. It is characterized by the presence of a painless brown-to-black macules on the palms. I suggest you to get a KOH examination and fungal culture of the skin scrapings done. A biopsy skin can also help in cliniching diagnosis.
