Hi,

Scalp dermatitis is the same as scalp eczema.  Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a common condition which presents as scaling rash affecting the face, scalp and other areas. It is common in adults 30 to 60 years old. This could be due to hormonal changes or from infectious organisms sucha as  fungus that normally lives on the skin. This link may be helpful: http://dermnetnz.org/dermatitis/seborrhoeic-dermatitis.html

Take care and regards.
