on my right 'butt' (-thought hungry mosquito got me during night). Next day after mowing lawn I noticed 3 or 4 scattered, tiny raised pink bumps/bites? just in front of my right armpit
(?!), thighs, back & stomach & soon the ones on my back started to itch-followed slowly by the others. They've only appeared where my clothing had been; but there's been no change in anything I use. Took Benadryl tabs evry 4 hrs., then only 1/X day & Gold Bond medicated ointment for the itch-when it occurs. They don't always itch- but they haven't gone away after close to a week, either. Not acting like poison
ivy/oak, when scratched, these tiny bumps don't weep or anything--I just have to ask if any heath experts out there could assist me ...what is going on & how may I heal it ??? Please ?
bites. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used, whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid. But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Sounds like what I'm going through....Ringworm....it *****.... Using Gold Bond won't get rid of it, and the only thing that will is an antifungal cream like Lotrimin, Lamisil, or something the Dr. can give you.....Don't scratch, change your clothes frequently after a shower....and change the sheets daily..... wash all the clothes and sheets in hot water...Most of all, make sure you dry yourself off good after a shower......Good Luck.
I researched that--but ringworm is supposed to be an itchy, red circular rash with healthy-looking skin in the middle, What I'm experiencing are separate raised pink bumps that alternate (for whatever reason) from non-itchy to very itchy. I do agree with the point of washing everything thoroughly & in hot water ! ....Thanks !

I simply wish to say "thank you" for your response. Although these bites appear to be taking thier sweet time healing, you were correct: the Benadryl or Claritin works best ! Much appreciated ! Have a great day !
