sebaceous cyst? on penile shaft

I have had what I believe to be a sebaceous cyst, from what I have been reading, on the shaft of my penis about 1.5" down from the top on the left size for quite some time (more than 1 year). It becomes very visible thru the skin during an erection. It is not very visible otherwise. It appears such as a grain of rice but does not produce any pain or discomfort for me or anyone else. Today, It seems to have gone down a little deeper where it cannot be seen thru the skin and a larger bump has come up on the surface of the skin, producing some pain and discomfort. A small hole that seems to exist on the side of it yields a medium thick white substance if you squeeze it. There seems to be a larger portion of it still lodged in there that would be to large to be squeezed out the hole since it is a solid mass. I dont know what to do and the only time I had the objects looked at was during an STD test a long time ago, The objects were not very visible at the time due to the state of my parts at the time. and I was advised that those little bits of 'skin' under the skin were from circumcision and sometimes they will break out of the skin or dissapear in some other fasion. There isn't anything to do--cysts are part of normal penile anatomy. There's no need to surgically remove them which would be the only way to get rid of them altogether. Just leave it alone and show your doctor next time you go.
