Seborrheic keratosis is a benign skin tumor whose exact cause is not known. Some cases are inherited through an autosomal dominant mode of inheritance. Sunlight seems to play a role in the development of some seborrheic keratoses and mutation of gene may play an important role.There is no disease that is associated with seborrheic keratosis as such.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
