of bumps. They are about the size of a dime and are raised and rough feeling. And then I had 2 more on my collar bone on each side that did the same thing, started as bumps and then progressed. Now I have about 10 little bumps over my stomach, back, and chest. They itch really bad but I don't have any other symptoms. What could this be?
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Such outbreaks are generally viral or allergic in nature. Red itchy bumps all over the body can be due to viral rashes like shingles or herpes or chicken pox (unlikely as you do not have fever
) or red. Urticaria is usually triggered by allergens, such as drugs, foods, insect bites, inhaled substances, in response to sunlight, cold, heat, stress, exercise, or a viral infection. Other common allergens are pollen, mold, dust, pet dander, or cosmetics. Since you experienced an itch, just go over these possibilities in your mind. Something may strike you. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examination.
I have enumerated the possibilities that come to my mind right now. Please consult a skin specialist for this. Take care!
