shingles vs chicken pox

my son had shingles as a baby, he is now 21, can he get the chicken pox?

I think you are saying the opposite. Your son must have got chicken pox when he was a child and now the possibility of getting shingles cannot be ruled out. Shingles is an infection caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which is the virus that causes chickenpox. It occurs in people who have had chickenpox and represents a reactivation of the dormant varicella-zoster virus.
