It depends if you're prepared for the side effects.  I took Accutane when I was younger and although it works, the side effects may make it not worth it for you.  I had very dry skin, so where my face was flaky and I was always applying lotion and lip balm.  It also made my skin very sensitive to sunlight and I burnt very easily.  It made me a little nauseous after taking it, but that wasn't such a big deal.  The biggest problem for me was that while it cleared my acne up pretty well (but not entirely), I was still self-conscious because of my dry skin and wondering if I had scaly flakes all over my face while talking to people....but that was only my reaction, people respond to medication differently.
