single bump in my pubic area

I've developed a single bump beside my clitoris in my pubic hair area. It's pretty big and hurts. It looks like a pimple but its not completely white at the top. I had oral sex lately so its really scaring me... Can anyone tell me wat this is? Could it be an STD?

Chances are there that it is a boil. Cleaning with some anti-septic solution and anti-biotic course under general physician’s guidance will lessen the symptoms. Till then, topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.

If the symptoms persist then you may need incision and drainage and get STD’s like herpes ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Do you have any other symptomes ( muscle pain, lymph nodes) ?

SOmetimes herpes looks like ingrown hair, boils, bumps!!!!
