skin cancer-skin tag

I am a 53 year old female. I have a flesh colored skin tag between my breasts that I think may have become irritated by a bra. Anyway, within 24 hours it has become dark bron/black. what, if anything, should I do? I am scared - is it melanoma?

Not much.  When skin tags twist or lose their blood supply, they turn black, and sometimes hurt, and often fall off.  This is not a problem.  When you get a chance, show a doctor if there's anything left.  meantime, just keep the area covered, so it won't get irritated.  (This is for your comfort, not for any health concern.)

Best.
