i have notice a thick black mark around my inner tighs and on my butt. i think it s becoz of tight underware but iam not sure. plz help to get rid of this black mark bcoz it s very dark and visible.

Hyperpigmentation or darkening of an area of skin  is caused by increased melanin.  There are many possible causes and may include any of the following: sun damage, inflammation, or other skin injuries. Acanthosis nigricans is hyperpigmentation of intertriginous areas and usually associated with insulin resistance. Treatment will depend on the cause and may include hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, tretinoin, topical glucocorticoids, and licorice extract. Talk to your dermatologist for the treatment suited for you. Direct clinical examination is important in determining the diagnosis.
