skin dots

I've had these little pinkish dots in patches on my upper arms, thighs, and chest. They dont itch, or even raise above the skin as much as a pimple, and dont contain pus. like i said, it doesnt itch or hurt, just embarrassing. it runs in my family, and i cant find it on the internet. My question is, what is it, and how can i get rid of it?

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be atopic dermatitis, polymosphous light eruption or Darier disease. Darier diseases is a genetic disease characterized by dark crusty patches on the skin. Treatment of choice for severe cases is oral retinoids. During flares, topical or oral antibiotics and steroids may be administered.
