skin firming after weight loss

by lance, Nov 12, 2000 12:00AM
I am a 20 year old male and I have recently lost a lot of weight. As a result, my skin is "loose" and sags in places. It's been about 6 months since I stopped losing weight and I'm not sure if my skin has firmed at all since then. My question is: since the skin is always shedding and growing, will it eventually grow to be firm again? If so, how long, and is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

Lance:

In general, skin will shrink to "remodel" itself after a weight loss like yours.  I honestly don't know whether there is anything you can do to speed the process other than exercise, good diet, and time.

But congratulations on your achievement!
