skin fungus on leg?

About 3 months ago, I had an insect bite on my lower leg and I constantly scratch it, soon i notice some tiny red spots like 4-5 of them. About a week or so, it became a red and inflamed circular shape. I thought it was an infection so I put antibiotic ointments on it and covered it up with a bandage. Unfortunately, it didn't work and only got bigger. I didn't really care about it until I started getting red itchy bumps all over my legs, buttocks, arms and some around my forehead. Some itches and some don't. For the red and inflamed shape, when picked, it bleeds and oozes out with pus or something. I finally went to my doctor and he said I have a ringworm on the red and inflamed circular shape. This is what caused me to have red itchy bumps all over... He prescribed me anti-fungal pills(generic for Lamisil) for 2 weeks. If nothing gets any better than I would have to go back. Today is my 3rd day since treatment and my red bumps are still not going away, but the ringworm has been oozing without me picking on it. Does it mean that the medications are working? I have been researching the internet about this and the only thing I think it may be is Neurodermatitis eczema. It is true that it was a insect bite and I constantly scratched so therefore it has to be that, but it wouldn't explain the red itchy bumps around my legs, arms, forehead and buttocks. Could it be 2 different problems? or is it actually a ringworm?
