skin irratation

my daughter is 15, and has terrible blisters all over her legs, they burst and then scab over, she is in severe pain . she says it burns so badly, this keeps her from sleeping. i have taken her to my dr.they wernt sure what it was so they sent me to a dermatologist they predicted that it was a skin infection or bacteria from being in the hot tub . so they gave her an antibiotic she has been on the antibiotic for 4 days and there is no improvements , she cries in pain cant go to school because it hurts to badly.the dr.s seem stumped and so am i . i just want to help her! what is my next step what could it be?

You should contact your doctor at once.  I'm sure the doctor performed a culture--if so, the results should be back by now.  Perhaps the culture showed a bacteria that requires a different antibiotic.  Or maybe a different kind of test, like a skin biopsy, may be needed.  Either way, I'm sure your daughter can be helped.  Please work with your doctors.
