skin peeling off

IM NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY SKIN..MY SON BROKE OUT WITH A RASH THAT THE DR SAID WAS FITHS DISEASE,AND THEN I HAD THE BLOTCHY RED SPOTS ON MY LEGS SO THE DR SAID THATS WHAT I HAD TO,BUT MY HANDS GOT REAL STIFF AND RED LIKE THEY HAD BEEN SUN BURNED,THEY ALSO FELT LIKE THEY WERE COVERED IN WAX OR SOMETHING,EVERYTHING I TOUCHED FELT REALLY SOFT AND SMOOTH,THEY ALSO ITCHED,THEN THEY STARTED PEELING ON MY FINGERS, THEN ALL OVER MY HANDS,MY PALMS HAVE COMPLETLY BEEN PEELED OFF NOW,AND THEN MY FEET STARTED PEELING AND MY ELBOWS FELT SUN BURNED AND STARTED PEELING AND NOW MY KNEES AND BELLY..THEN AS THAT WASNT ENOUGHT I JUST NOTICED TODAY THAT THE BACK OF MY LEGS HAVE A SPOT ON THEM..WHEREEVER IT IS ON ONE SIDE OF MY BODIE IT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE TOO..THE DR NOW TOLD ME TO SEE A DERMATOLIGIST,BUT I CANT FIND ONE THAT CAN GT ME IN ERLIER THEN 2 MONTHS,SO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME..I FEEL LIKE MY WHOLD BODY IS GOING TO PEEL OFF,AND IT IS UGLY AND EMBARASING NOT TO MENTION IT ITCHES TO.

If the itching is worse at night then it sounds like scabies. the only thing that cures it is a cream that you cant buy over the counter. need script from a doc.

Hi,

How are you? Are there other signs and symptoms present? Try to avoid scratching the lesion to prevent secondary infection.  Peeling skin on the feet or hands may be due to excessive perspiration and inadequate evaporation, skin infections, extremely dry skin, or as a side effect of  certain medications. Over-the-counter antihistamine medications may provide relief with the itching. Moisturizing may also help. But I would recommend that you have this evaluated further by your dermatologist  for proper management and to rule out infection.
