several sores on legs begins with itching, swelling and 2 holes 1/16" apart..couple of days later leaves holes in skin with hard painful centers. had this about 8 weeks now. if the areas heal they leave purplish hard scars? tried antifungal creams, bleach, keflex, and vinegar. this came about after exposure( i feel ) to poison sumac. doesnt take the typical pattern for ringworms. havent been outside state of tennessee this year.

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be due to erythema nodosum. It is located in a certain portion of the fatty layer of skin. It results in reddish, painful, tender lumps most commonly located in the front of the legs below the knees.

These lumps can be self-limiting and resolve on their own in three to six weeks. Upon resolution, they may leave only a temporary bruised appearance or leave a chronic indentation in the skin where the fatty layer has been injured. This may occur for periods of weeks to months and then eventually goes away.
