skin rash on chin

by redeye001, Aug 21, 2009 10:32PM
I have had a rash on my chin now for approximately 2 weeks. It started out as a raised red bump along the lower lip line which looked like an insect bite and then another bump appeared next to it.the lumps are soft and red but there's no itching or soreness.  now I have a rash on my chin in which the skin appears red and scalded or wrinkled. there's no dryness or flaking skin or lesions. I've been treating it with antbiotics and antibiotic creme for a week but there's no change.I see a dermatologist next week but in the meantime I can't seem to identify this skin problem. It is the strangest thing I 've ever seen. I am at a loss as to how it developed since I don't have a history of skin problems and had no contact with anyone in the days before the first symptom appeared.
