The rash started on the back opf my torso it is as ictchy as hell I seem to run a tempreture now and then slightly and it gets more itchey it is now on my arms. on my upper legs I have small blotches with dry skin on top. I am under a huge amount of stress at the moment. The rash has no blisters and I am feeling the cold a bit. I first noticed an oval dry patch of skin small. Pityriasis Rosea?

To: stozernz,
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be nummular dermatitis. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Your dad can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if they help. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).  Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.

If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. Pityriasis rosea and ringworm have to be ruled out.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
