skin rash

  Started with itchy scalp. Then the skin around the back of her kneck,going down the right side of her chest and encircled her right breast was smooth but very red. Now all of this has a heatlike appearance and her hair is falling out quite rapidly. Has had steroidal(prednisone) treatment and several different  
sauves to no avail? Any ideas?

Burning rash started in the palm of her hands amd has spread to her mouth and around her eyes. The burning has stopped, but now it hurts. Her genetalia and rectum is also affected with this and her finger nails and toe nails hurt and have turned rigid,thick and yellow. She too has been through about the same type of treatments. Ideas?

Niether person knows the other and they both have had these conditions for about six months.

I'm afraid that neither story reminds me of any condition I am familiar with.  Your two friends are going to need to see a doctor, I think.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.
