Hello.
I'm using clobetasol cream in addition to oral prednisone to get rid of drug rash from Bactrim. It's about 10 days since I started using it, and I noticed that some parts of my skin on my legs look wrinkly (skin got loose?). Could this be from clobetasol? I'm not sure whether I should stop clobetasol or keep using it.
Since this is a strong medicine I've been using a tiny amount every time (twice a day). Any advice would be appreciate it. Thank you!
, skin atrophy and cracking and fissuring of the skin are side effects of the drug topical Clobetasol. If you are having skin wrinkling after using this product then you should stop using it and consult a dermatologist to start with some other less potent antifungal drug.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
