small, light-red bruise on palm of hand

I've recently found a small, light-red bruise on the palm of my left hand. It is the size of a pimple. I thought it would go away in a day, but it didn't. What could it be?

I don't think it is MRSA, there is only of them, and it is not bumpy.

It could be MRSA. Don't pick at it and go see your MD if it doesn't go away.
