I have noticed all these weird little skin growths that started one on my foot now have have 3 on my inner thigh one my stomach, my chest and my hip. They kinda look like pimples but they arent and when i scatch them it kinda looks like blood comes up to the surfes. Its kinda has me a little worried, any ideas on what it may be??

Hi,

Since when are you having these symptoms? Could you describe the lesions a little more ?

What work do you do? Are you exposed to any chemicals or direct sunlight?

These could be 'blood blisters', though nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

'If a blister bursts, don't peel off the dead skin on top of the blister. Gently press the area to get rid of all the fluid inside, and then cover the blister and the area around it with a dry, sterile dressing to protect it from infection until it heals.

Blood blisters should also be left to heal naturally. As with other blisters, if a blood blister bursts it is important to keep the area clean and dry, and protect it with a sterile dressing to prevent infection.

Blood blisters are often painful, and you may wish to apply an ice pack to the area immediately after the injury that caused it. You should apply the ice pack for between 10 and 30 minutes. The ice should not touch your skin directly as this may cause a cold burn, so place a towel over the injured part first.

Even when popped as described above, a blister can become infected, Staph aureus infections being most common. Blisters that have become infected can be treated with antibiotics prescribed by your GP. '

It would be best to consult a doctor if it does not resolve on its own in a few days.

Hi,
I don't actually work with alot of chemicals i work in a restaurant and in retail! Its not like a blister, its almost like a pimple, but i can definatly say that its not a pimple! Or even bug bites but they just don't seem to be those two option but thats what they kinda look like! Its really hard to explain actually. If i can get a decent picture of them  i will have to post them when i can! But is there such a thing as stress bumps? that the only option i can think of because of the fact that i have been so stressed out latley! These bumps don't itch hurt or anything i just keep noticing them popping up.

Well hope that helped explain it a little better!

Hi,

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions. It would be ebst to have a doctor or physician have a look at the lesions.

Have you tried any medications for the lesions?

Stress can cause dermatitis. It would be best to consult a doctor if it does not resolve on its own in a few days.
