small red ( freckle looking flat spots) do not blanch

My daughter is 7 years old , this morning she woke up with a speckly "freckled" looking rash on her upper face by her eyes that goes up into her hairline, they do not go away when pushed on, i mentioned them to her doctor who said they may be petechie? How do i know and how do i know when to go get her tested ( her doc mentioned getting bloodwork)

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be dermatitis or petechiael spots. Petechiae are pinpoint-sized red dots under the surface of the skin. They are common after skin trauma and viral infections. They should go away in a few days. But if they persist then please consult a physician and get other causes ruled out which include allergic reaction, autoimmune diseases, thrombocytopenia, ITP or leukemias.

My sincere advice is to get it examined from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
