small red bumps on penis head

I had unprotected sex with someone who I didn't really know that well and the next morning I noticed tiny (1mm) round, raised red dots on the head of my penis. Nothing itched at first but now my thighs and pubic area slightly do itch. The itching could be all in my head but the dots are still there 5 days later. I've heard that it could just be irritation from rough sex and stds don't show symptoms so soon but I just wanted to make sure. Any thoughts on what this could be would be greatly appreciated!

These small red dots on the penis head can be due to friction rub or chafing during sex. The other possibility is of contact dermatitis to latex of condoms, lubricants, her cosmetics etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
