small red spots on penis head

OK first off i am a 22 year old male and i have had small red/purple spots on the penis head for about 6 months now, they are very small about 1-2mm in diameter and look to be 20+ of them.

when i first got them i tried the canesten tablets and cream and these got rid of them for about 2 weeks but then they came back, so i tried the stuff again and as i thought they would they went away but they came back again.

i went to see my GP to see what his word was on it and he thought it may be a yeast infection seeing as it had responded to the canesten tablets, since then however i have tried using both daktakort and timodine and none of these have had any impact on them.

When the penis is flacid they are just at skin level but when i get aroused you can see they raise up slightly tp look like little lumps, my GP sent me to see a urologist and he said it looked normal and red spots are a common thing to have.

I cant understand how it can be normal though when they just showed up and have since refused to budge regardless of the creams i have tried on them, the area does itch every now and then but that seems to be the only reportable symptom...any idea what i could be dealing qith as none of the pictures i have seen online habe looked remotely like it,

I think you should take the word of the urologist.  Maybe you have some mild irritation--this may not be "normal," but it isn't serious or contagious either.  Your best bet is to ignore it, I think.  If you need additional reassurance, a visit to a dermatologist might be worthwhile.
