small rough patches on hips and legs

I have these skin growths on my hips, stomach and legs.  When I scratch them off they sometimes reappear.  I have been usinga Efudix from Mexico and they go away.  What are these little growths.  They don't bleed and they aren't red or painful.

Hi,

This could be Tinea versicolor,  a common skin infection that presents with irregularly-shaped spots often merging together to form a larger patch. They appear pale or dark tan that can darken when the patient is overheated, such as in a hot shower or  exercise. These spots commonly affect the back, underarm, upper arm, chest, lower legs, and neck. Topical antifungal medications may help but this has a tendency to recur. If it persists, have his evaluated further for proper management. Direct clinical examination is important to determine the diagnosis.
