small temporary dark spots

I've been getting some dark purple spots on my skin that last only a few days and are definitely not bruises or sunspots. They are the size and shape of a mole, with no texture and perfectly round. I've summarized this below. Any ideas as to what this might be would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
- just under pea size
- color of a dark bruise
- perfectly round, look like they are drawn on with no fading out, from dark purple to normal skin within a millimeter
- go away in a few days
- do not raise the skin, cannot feel change below skin
- had about 6 in past two weeks
