small white pimple turns large red...wart?

hi, for as long as i can remember i've had many small white bumps under my shaft and on top closer to the pubic region. i've popped a few n a small amount of puss? comes out but they dont seem to dissapear. the other day i tried to pop one and i woke up the next day and there was a large red wart-like bump where i tried to pop the pimple. this has happened to me before and its gone away within a few days. this time, it doesnt seem to be going away, its around the third day and not showing signs of dissapearing...can you help me out?

yea its not so much yellow and white as it is red but some white in the center. ive picked at it and nothing has discharged from it at all. theres no other bump like this on my body. not itchy and no scaling...any further help?

Hi,

This may be a case of folliculitis. Folliculitis may present as reddish bumps with whitish and yellowish centers and they involve the hair follicles. Is this true in your case?

Other differentials will be blocked hair follicles or sweat glands. Avoid picking on these bumps as they may get infected. In your case, this may be an infection. I suggest that you have this assessed by a dermatologist since you may need topical antibiotics for this.

Is there any associated discharge from the bump?

Any similar bumps in other parts of the body?

Any associated itchiness or scaling in the area?
