solid object found in skin

this is kind of embarrassing, a couple of nights ago me and my boyfriend were wrestling around after i got out of the shower (i only had a towel on) when he saw i had an infected hair under my rear, so he pulled it for me. then he saw a little black dot in my genital area, thinking it was another infected hair he was getting ready to pull it, but upon closer look he said it looked like a hole in my skin or a bug had crawled inside of me. (this only around my bikini line, not my actual 'area'.) for 30 minutes he used tweezers trying to pull it out of me (which really hurt), when he got it out it  looked like a white popcorn kernel with black stuff inside, and it had a stringy substance hanging off the end, and was very sticky. we tried to keep it, but ended up dropping it and haven't been able to find it since. any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm quite embarrassed to go to the hospital about finding a strange object in my genital area. thanks in advance.

hi,

it appears that the foreign object may be a collection of secretions at the base of a hair follicle which gets enlarged with time. Your boyfriend has managed to remove the whole cyst with its sheath.
this called as a Sebaceous cyst.

You may read more about it at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebaceous_cyst

at this time, you must visit a doctor and get this examined. i know this may be embarrassing, however since its about your health, you must not take chances.

hope this helped. let me know if you need more information
