sore red/clear bumps on single finger.

the other day my middle finger felt really sensitive on the bottom but there was nothing to be seen. over the next few days i noticed a red and clear bump forming and it hurts. a couple hours later a few more appeared only on my one finger, then my morning there were seven red/clear bumps, my finger is swelling up and it reallllllly hurts to bend. some of the bumps are red and some are white, with clear coting on the top? i'd really like to know what is going on with this because it is very irritating, and im scared more are going to appear..

Herpes w.  starts with a finger, is very painful.  See a dermotolgist for help.  NOt fatal.
