I can't tell from your posting what you have.  You will need to see a doctor about this.  Thank you.

This comment is directed more or less to the "Dr." and anyone else that can benefit from it.  I have been doing some research on Cherry Angioma.  During my research I found this forum and several other sites.  Upon researching this disorder I have read and been told by several doctors that Cherry Angioma can affect almost any part of the body but is most common in the trunk and will bleed profusely when injured.  Upon visiting this forum I had read one persons question concerning a red spot on his chin, and had been diagnosed as Cherry angioma by two dermatologists, the patient also stated that when injured it would bleed profusely.  But the "Dr." replied to this patient that it was not Cherry Angioma because that it only is present on the torso and does not bleed.  So my question for you "Dr." is to what extent do you know about this disorder or was I given the wrong information?

Cherry angiomas appear mostly on the torso and rarely bleed.  Facial angiomas can bleed, but most people don't classify them as cherry angiomas.  It's just a question of terminology.  If an angioma bleeds, it should be cauterized, whether you call it a cherry or not.

And just to back up the "Dr." I have a few cherry angiomas on my trunk, one on my arm, and I've never seen one of them bleed.  Trust this guy, he is good :)
