spontaneous rash

My daughter has acquired a rash that looks like illustrations of prurigo with papules on the scalp, forehead, back of neck, lower leg, lower back and a few paps on the forearm.  She finished up a round of bactrim-ds on 3-07-09.  She is 19 and used some lavender foot cream by yves rocher on her hands and face.  She has rash about everywhere BUT her hands and feet.  She also began playing with a stuffed toy she left under her bed for about a year and a half.  What could be the cause of the rash?  I applied some topicort ointment her dermatologist had given her for a sensitivity reaction test.  Getting an appointment takes a while and I thought maby I could get a response here as well as some recommendations for treatments and causes for this type of outbreak.  She has NEVER had this condition before.
