Hello...I wrote to you two months ago and appreciated your advice. However, I am still battling the same issue. I have a case of
tineaAthlete's foot
Athlete's foot, tinea pedis
Dermatitis, reaction to tinea
Folliculitis
Jock itch
Ringworm
Ringworm, tinea capitis - close-up
Ringworm, tinea corporis on an infant's leg
Ringworm, tinea corporis on the leg
Ringworm, tinea manuum on the finger
Ringworm, tinea on the hand and leg incognito(biopsy confirmed) on my leg that went away with a 3 week course of
grifulvinGrifulvin v and econozole cream(after 9 months of steroids, and attempts to use ALL other oral or topical antifungals). I believe that I got it from my dog(microsporum canis) and she was treated as well. Then it came back...3 weeks later! My derm. told me to use econozole and
protopic thinking maybe it was something else. With no success, he put me back on
grifulvinGrifulvin v. I am now on a 6 week course(halfway through) of
grifulvinGrifulvin v pills and econozole cream and was told to still use the
protopic. I wory that although protopic is not a steroid, it works in a similiar fashion and so I should maybe stop using it all together. What is your reccomendation? Can I stop it cold turkey or do I have to wean off it? He says the next step is to have a plastic surgeon cut it out...help!!! It has been 11 months of frustration! THANK-YOU!
