Hi, I am 27 years of age I had two pregnancies in the past My Older son is 7 and my younger son is 2 years of age. I did not get any stretch marks with my past pregnancies. I was on birth controlControl Control rx pills for a year when I started noticing some minor straie on my stomach, Then I suddenly get stretch marks in many places like my hipsHip joint replacement Hip pain, thighs, (inner and outer) over my entire buttock and stomach even some in my pubicPubic lice area. The colorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test is a light pink the stretch marks cover an extensive area I did lose about 15-20 pounds in november, however the straie began appearing about 5 months after that and are still appearing, I see new ones every day, so I do not think that the weight loss is related.
Anyway I have been to the doctor. He thinks it is benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo related to hormones. Blood test is good, Sugar, Thyroid are all ok .
At this time this is my only symptom, so cushingCushing syndrome, is out. I am not overweight I weigh 120 and am 5"3' I am at my wits end the stretch marks keep on appearing, the other day I had them until my belly button and now I see new ones past my belly button. I am so frantic that I am afraid they will start appearing on my face. Every little Hole i see i think is the beginning of a new stretch mark What could be the cause? I am at my wits end, I cannot concentrate on anything anymore. I am afraid that my face will soon be covered in marks, what is causing my stretch marks? Please help me I am desperate for an answer. Can it be nutritional deficiency
When I lost weight after having children, the stretch marks I had not noticed previously began to show more. They later turned lighter more skin colored and almost totally disappear. Don't worry, really! You are a great weight for your height. You might think about aerobic and weight training which can help to fill out any extra skin. Because you are young your hormones will continue to promote collagen and skin will retract as well. The much more difficult problem which shows through clothes is sagging skin that won't go back if you gain too much or wait to lose after your over forty. Keep taking such good care of yourself.
These may be hormone related. In the absence of other associated symptoms like obesity, darkening of the neck and the armpits, headaches and other symptoms, I do not think this is something serious. Your thyroid hormones and blood sugar levels are within normal.
Apply mild Vitamin E cream over the area to keep the skin smooth and even in those areas. Drink plenty of water and maintain a daily exercise regimen. Daily exercises improve circulation and will help keep the body firm .It also improves the skin’s condition.
I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.
Hello, stretch marks suck, I know I used to have some pretty bad ones. In your case its probably due to all the stretching and shrinking of your body. Having two kids and loosing weight (and possibly gaining weight I'm not sure if you have) can take a huge toll on your skin. There is really nothing you can do, because stretch marks are going to appear regardless, but you can help them be a lot less noticeable and maybe even disappear if you apply coco butter lotion everyday after you bath. I know from experience, I am only 17 (which means my skin has more elasticity than yours, making stretch marks less likely) and when I was about 15-16 I was a whopping 236 pounds and I had ugly red/purple stretch marks on my stomach and arms, but I started loosing weight and applying coco butter everyday and they slowly became less noticeable. Now I weigh 165 pounds and I'm still planning to loose more, but my stretch marks are hardly even noticeable, I can wear a bikini at the beach without being embarrassed. =)
